CCCX MTB XC 2012
Race #1- Sat. February 4- Ft. Ord

Fee: Adults $35 , Juniors $20, per race
One Day USAC Licence fee is $5 per race.
Courses: Race routes will be approximately 5 to 6 miles in length with
each start wave(9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m.) doing different number of laps.
Courses consist of fire roads, single-track, loose & hard-packed trails,
climbs & descents, mixed in among open meadows & tree filled terrain.
There are many fun riding trails with twisting turns, flowing downhill's,
sharp climbs, medium technical sections to challenge strength & skill.
Registration: There will be Race Day Registration only for each event.
Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. All USA Cycling Rules Apply.
Please save your assigned CCCX Series number for each event, as same #'s will be used for entire CCCX Series for each rider.
If you race in different divisions during the year, you must check in at Reg. to be issued a separate Race # for each division.
All riders must check in at registration & sign standard USA Cycling release form prior to all events during the season.
ALL athletes MUST wear a helmet the entire time while riding their bikes. Failure to have your helmet on at any time on the bike will result in DISQUALIFICATION. This includes while riding your bike in or out of the transition area.
Use of headphones during competition is not allowed.
Awards- CCCX Medals will be presented to each division at each race of the Series.
Awards for each start wave will take place approx. 20 minutes after final rider finishes for that start wave.
Cash will be paid to Pro fields at each race based on field size. 100% Payback to all Pro racers.
Pro riders must show a 2012 USA Cycling licence at registration to be eligible for cash payout..
Series prizes will be presented at Series final on July 7.
In most divisions medals & awards will go to the top 5, for some division medals & awards will be determined by field sizes.
